In my art, as in my interior design, my broad understanding of cultural transcendence stems from a childhood of existing between two continents. Born in the U.S. but raised between Europe and the States with my single mother, I was quick to adapt to new surroundings and experiences out of necessity. Consequently, the constants that persisted regardless of surrounding became a sort of sanctuary.
Thus, lasting connections, both emotionally and personally, are an important aspect of my work. Those connections have pushed my creative viewpoint and enabled my artistic expression through my profession as an interior designer as well as my work as an artist.

When I create a commissioned piece, my aim is always to create something that is made with intention, which will resonate with the owner on a level beyond sheer ornamentation.
